What are the chances of getting the Border Patrol Sector you applied for?

I applied for the Border Patrol in May of 2009 for the Spokane Sector (Northern Border). This is when they had an opening for the Northern Border. I received my letter in October and am now awaiting my entrance on duty date. If anybody knows about how long the wait is from october that would be great as well.
