They have actually built a day labor site complete with shelter, pic nic tables, porta poties, electricity all at the expense of the city tax payers. Helping the illegals to take jobs from the very tax payers that Mayor Fagen took money from to keep it going for the past 10 years. Today the Marxist that support the Mayor showed their true colors. facebook.com Things are finally heating up in Texas, and numerous bills to curtail illegals are introduced. among them a bill to mandate that anyone taking the test for a TX driver’s license do so ONLY in English. Predictably, advocates for illegals such as Rep. Eddie Rodriguez, whine about it being “intolerant”, but then he steps WAY over the line, trying to tie it to the shooting of Gabby Giffords by suggesting “divisive rhetoric” could lead to violence. Disgraceful. www.StandWithArizona.com
Kurt Nimmo www.infowars.com May 31, 2011 Texas Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, who played a pivotal role in sabotaging a bill that would have criminalized TSA groping in the state’s airports, has written a letter to Gov. Rick Perry asking for a special session. Only the Governor may call the Legislature into special sessions, unlike other states where the legislature may call itself into session. Dewhurst wants a number of legislative issues taken up in the special session, most notably redistricting and Rep. David Simpson’s bill making groping without probable cause a felony. After federal intimidation — threatening to shut down air traffic in Texas — Simpson’s bill failed to get the two thirds vote necessary. The Western Texas Division US District Attorney’s office sent the threatening letter prior to a vote on HB 1937. “The Texas Sam Houston fought for and governed apparently is learning submission,” Simpson said after the bill went down in flames.” www.lonestarreport.org In response to federal intimidation and meddling in state politics, Alex Jones spearheaded a rally at the capitol in Austin. See his video covering the event below. For more on Dewhurst’s effort to sink the bill, see Paul Joseph Watson’s Republican Lt. Governor Killed TSA Bill For Obama. www.infowars.com Dewhurst’s letter to Perry follows. Dear Governor Perry, Unfortunately, despite the very hard work and determination of the majority of Members of both the House and Senate, the Legislature was unable to …
(Newsroom America) — Lawmakers in Texas are eyeing the adoption of an immigration reform law similar to one in Arizona, making the Lone Star state the latest to join about a dozen others also considering it. www.prisonplanet.com Local media reported that the plan being considered by state lawmakers would allow, but not require, state and local police to help enforce federal immigration laws. Officials said the compromise is meant to placate both Democrats and Republicans. Immigration rights advocates are opposed to the measure, saying it would lead to racial discrimination. The Texas law mirrors parts of the law passed in Arizona that set off a federal lawsuit and was denounced by President Obama. www.infowars.com prisonplanet.tv
